The Best Coffee In

So last week a friend invited me to the Andaz 5th Avenue hotel on the corner of 41st street and 5th Avenue, where they serve Cafe Grumpy coffee drinks. What a find!

The cafe itself is rather small, but features a few low tables, plenty of seating, wifi and great pastries. In other words, a close to perfect coffee bar in my estimation.

The brewed coffee was quite good, as were the pastries. (It’s unclear if these were Grumpy-sourced pastries.) I need to pay a few more visits to try out the espresso drinks — cortado, anyone? — but this is a very promising find!
